Angie Kay – the communicator
Angie Kay has always had a passion for writing and she loves nothing more than crafting the perfect yarn. Angie’s first job in writing began when she worked for independent magazines in the late 80s covering multicultural relations, politics and community issues.
Moving onto newspaper journalism, Angie became well known for her passion in seeking out the truth and ensuring her stories helped make a difference.
From News Limited in Sydney, Angie relocated to Queensland working at the Sunshine Coast Daily as a general news reporter and Family Life editor.
Almost a decade ago, Angie transitioned to the corporate world working as a freelance journalist and editor in business and commodities journalism for leading international publishing companies including Energy Publishing (now IHS), S&P Global Platts, Steel First, Metal Bulletin, Coal Trader International and PanAust.
In recent years, Angie has developed a strong reputation for producing compelling copy for businesses and websites. Angie also has a strong communications background and has worked for a number of Sunshine Coast based charities and businesses.
